Terms and conditions

Thank you for your interest in attending the Dunorlan Park Fireworks. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change at the discretion of the Organisers, so please review them periodically for updates. If you have any questions or need clarification on any point, feel free to contact us via the form below.

Definitions:

  • Event: Dunorlan Park Fireworks (Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table Charity Fireworks)

  • Organiser: Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table (part of Round Table Great Britain and Ireland and is a Non-Profit Organisation)

  • Regulations: All current and future laws, regulations, notices, governmental guidance, or orders from applicable governing bodies affecting the Organiser or you.

  • Terms: The terms and conditions outlined in this document.

  • Ticket: Any ticket type granting entry to the Event.

  • Ticket Holder: The individual(s) who purchased the ticket for the Event.

  • Venue: Pembury Rd, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tunbridge Wells TN2 3QN

  • You/Your: The ticket holder and any person attending the Event.

The Event:

  • The Event is non-commercial enterprise and is run primarily by volunteers for the community with all proceeds being donated to local charities or groups.

  • Admission to the Event requires a valid ticket, which can be presented digitally on your phone to minimise paper usage.

  • Please download your ticket in advance of arriving at the Venue to avoid network slowdown.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or eject individuals from the Event for various reasons, including failure to comply with security measures, health and safety concerns, or disruptive/threatening behaviour.

  • Security searches may be conducted upon entry to ensure safety. Refusal to comply may result in denied admission.

  • Prohibited items include alcohol (it is available when you come in) weapons, open flames, fireworks, sparklers, illegal substances, and other items deemed unsafe by the Organiser.

  • Possession of illegal substances or items will result in refusal of admission or ejection from the Event, with no refunds.

  • The use of drones is prohibited.

  • Special effects like strobes, haze, and pyrotechnics may be utilised during the Event.

  • Seating is not provided, but attendees may bring their own chairs.

  • An accessible viewing area is available, and attendees with specific accessibility needs should contact the Organiser in advance.

  • Parking is available in nearby public car parks, including limited disabled parking at the Event on a pre organised first-come basis with proper identification.

  • The venue is wheelchair accessible but mobility assistance cannot be guaranteed.

  • Bicycles and scooters are not allowed at the Venue.

  • With the exception of assistance dogs, animals are not permitted at the Venue.

  • Individuals under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and possess a valid ticket for entry.

  • By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.

 

Event Schedule and Cancellations:

  • The Organiser reserves the right to modify the Event program.

  • Advertised times are approximate and subject to change, so please stay informed by checking our website, social media or your e-mails.

  • The Event will still take place if it is raining or windy unless the conditions are deemed too inclement for it to safely take place.

  • In case of adverse weather or flooding, the Event may be delayed or rescheduled, with tickets honoured for the new date, transferred to the following year or refunded at the discretion of the organiser.

Ticketing and Refunds:

  • Admission is granted only to those with valid tickets, subject to availability.

  • Tickets all unique and are non-transferable. Due to fraudulent individuals who target events like this, you must only purchase tickets from our official secure ticketing site.

  • Tickets are valid only for the specified date(s) by the organiser.

  • Tickets will issued electronically via email, please check your spam/junk folder if not received.

  • A carer who provides additional physical or cognitive assistance for a patron with a qualifying disability will be permitted entry under a discretionary complimentary ticket* subject to:
    • The guest with the disability and any further members of their party paying the normal price of each ticket.

    • Showing relevant paperwork and photo ID if requested upon entry.

    • The guest with the disability providing relevant form of documentation if requested including:
    • Complimentary essential carer tickets are available for registered disabled individuals, subject to proof of eligibility which must be shown on entry. (DLA/PIP documentation, Attendance Allowance documentation, the Access Card, or blue badge guide will be required).

    • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award.

    • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).

    • A valid Blue Badge.

    • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).

    • Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol  

  • *A carer must be over 14 years of age and understand the ticket-holding guest’s condition, assisting them during their visit. Please note children under 14 must be accompanied by someone aged 16+ years. Carers must be able to take responsibility for relaying instructions to the guest they are caring for and physically help them where appropriate. 

  • Retain your ticket throughout the Event for re-entry purposes if required.

  • Refunds are not given. All proceeds raised are for local charities and good causes.

  • The Organiser is not liable for lost tickets, so please notify us promptly of any issues.

  • Tickets are revocable licenses and remain the property of the Organiser.

Personal Data:

  • Personal data collected is used for Event management and compliance with regulations.

Liability:

  • The Organiser is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage unless due to negligence, unforeseeable circumstances, or Force Majeure events beyond the Organiser's control.

  • The Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • The Organiser is not liable for expenses related to Event cancellation.

General:

  • The Organiser may assign rights and obligations under these terms.

  • Invalid provisions will be severed, and delays in enforcement do not waive rights.

  • Third parties have no rights under these terms.

  • These terms constitute the entire agreement between parties.

  • Fraudulent activities are not excluded from liability.

  • These terms are governed by English law with exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
